Women in Equine (WiE) is a professional organization and community dedicated to advancing women’s businesses and careers in the equine industry. Through WiE, women grow professionally and personally through intentional networking, extensive education, and genuine support. Data That Tells a Story
In May 2026, Women in Equine ran an Impact Survey on current members to establish a baseline for future annual impact surveys.
The resulting data revealed the following:
Years of industry experience vs. network strength
Of the women with over 11 years of industry experience, only 40% said they had a strong professional network.
Strong network strength drops to 18% when under 11 years of industry experience with 54.6% of respondents saying they have none or are isolated from building one.

Respondents were asked the above with the option to select multiple answers. 97% marked networking answers, with 42% marking advice and 26% marking marketing knowledge. 19% also marked the friendship answer.
